General

Cyql is available in an iOS and Android versions, and can be downloaded from the Apple Appstore and Google Play.

Minimum version operating systems:
Android: v5.0 or higher
iOS: v11.0 or higher

We recommend using Google Chrome.

Yes, you can. You can link multiple clubs (using the QR code or the activation code) to your own app if you are a member of more than one club. 

There is currently no functionality to designate road captains.

Yes Administrators can enter two club colours and the club logo in the dashboard, so that the app matches your club’s image.

Rides

All members of the club can create a ride. Naturally, your club can collectively make additional arrangements.

When members register, they indicate the type of rides they want to be kept informed about.
If a ride is created that meets their requirements, they receive a notification.

When creating a ride, the following can be entered: cycling discipline, date and departure time, start location, average speed, distance of the ride, and whether a stopover is planned. The ride organiser can add an additional description of the trip in a text field. GPX files can also be added.

Yes, you can.

You can chat with all the participants of a ride to coordinate any details by opening the ride in question.

Privacy

The Cyql app was developed by Freed Mobile+Interactive on behalf of a new company called Cyql BV. Cyql BV is affiliated with Freed Mobile+Interactive. Cyql is co-owner of the data generated by the Cyql app. Individual users and clubs have the right to access the data, or to have it erased. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Personal data is only used for the functional purposes of the app.
Personal data is never shared with third parties or used for commercial purposes.

The Cyql platform is hosted on servers in Groningen, The Netherlands.

This will be possible in a future version of the dashboard.
