Pizza Gravel Zurich

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that gravel cycling is an inherently dangerous activity that carries with it the potential for serious injury, property damage, and even death. The risks include, but are not limited to: terrain conditions, weather, equipment failure, collisions with vehicles or other riders, and the physical exertion required.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in rides organized or promoted by Pizza Gravel Zurich.

2. Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge the organizers, ride leaders, and volunteers of Pizza Gravel Zurich from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action for any injury, loss, or damage I may suffer, whether caused by the negligence of the organizers or otherwise, while participating in these social rides.

3. Responsibility for Safety & Equipment

• Self-Sufficiency: I understand that these are social rides, not professional tours. I am responsible for my own navigation, mechanical repairs, and well-being.
• Protective Gear: I agree to wear a properly fitted cycling helmet at all times during the ride.
• Traffic Laws: I agree to abide by the Swiss traffic regulations (Strassenverkehrsgesetz) and acknowledge that the roads/paths are not closed to the public.
• Health: I confirm that I am physically fit enough to participate in the chosen route and have no medical conditions that would make my participation unsafe.

4. Insurance

I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to maintain adequate personal accident, third-party liability, and health insurance coverage. The organizers do not provide any insurance for participants.

5. Media Release (Optional but Recommended)

I consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during the ride featuring me for use on Pizza Gravel Zurich’s social media channels or website.
