Skagit Bicycle Club

The Skagit Bicycle Club (SBC), a not‑for‑profit based in Skagit County, WA, has about 250 members and has promoted cycling, health, fitness, and community since 1989 through weekly rides, advocacy, and year‑round activities. The club welcomes riders of all experience levels and offers a variety of group rides where participants start together but naturally form slower, medium, and faster groups—sometimes with different route lengths—while Ride Leaders help newcomers get oriented and ensure everyone is supported on these no‑drop rides. Beyond cycling, SBC hosts social events such as its annual meeting dinner, Mardi Gras party, and summer barbecue, and partners with regional organizations like the North Puget Sound Bike Alliance so members can join other clubs’ rides and events, often at discounted rates.
