We have fantastic news for all cycling enthusiasts and clubs: Cyql is now available in your web browser! 🎉 This is a big step forward, making it even easier to use Cyql – no matter where you are or what device you’re using.

Whether you’re on the go with your smartphone or tablet, working from home on your laptop, or at your desk with a desktop – Cyql is always within reach. With this new functionality, you can plan, communicate, and organize more flexibly than ever.

We want to make it even easier for cycling clubs and communities to make the most of Cyql. With browser support, you can now:

  • Directly link to Cyql from your website – Make it even easier for your club members to log in and participate. Add a link to your Cyql environment directly to your website!
  • Use Cyql in your web browser 🌎 – No installation needed, just log in and get started.

 

What’s already available in the web version?

Almost everything you’re used to in the app! The most important features are already available. We are currently working on adding the ability to create rides via the web platform. This feature is planned for release in Q1 2025.

Great news for all cycling enthusiasts and clubs! 🚴‍♂️ Cyql has taken another big step in making the best routes more accessible. You can now easily link your Ride With GPS account to Cyql. With this new integration, planning and sharing your rides has never been easier. Read on to find out how to set up this connection and why it’s a game changer for your cycling club.

What is Ride With GPS and why this integration

Ride With GPS is a popular tool used by cyclists worldwide. The platform offers an extensive database of routes, detailed maps, and advanced planning features. With this integration, you can now use your favorite routes directly to create new rides for your cycling club.

After our successful integration with Strava, this is the second major connection designed to help clubs organize and enjoy beautiful, challenging rides together.

How does the integration work?
Setting up Ride With GPS in Cyql is simple and works just like Strava:

  1. Open the Cyql app and go to Settings.
  2. Select Linked Accounts.
  3. Choose Link Ride With GPS.
  4. Log in with your Ride With GPS account and grant permission.
  5. That’s it! You can now import routes from your Ride With GPS account and easily turn them into new rides.

This one-time setup eliminates the need to manually transfer routes. That means more time for what really matters: cycling! 🚴‍♀️

Surhuisterveen, December 1, 2024 – Shimano and Cyql have announced the extension and expansion of their partnership, emphasizing their shared ambition to make cycling more accessible and appealing to a broad audience.

For Shimano, Cyql offers access to a target audience that perfectly aligns with the brand’s mission and vision. Starting in 2025, the Cyql app will play a key role in major events such as Super Cycling Sunday and The Rebound.

The extended partnership also brings significant benefits for Cyql. Through close collaboration with Shimano, Cyql can now populate the app’s Discover map with locations of Shimano Service Centers.
