Discover the new Cyql ride widget

🚴‍♂️ Expand your cycling club’s reach!

Cyql already boasts two powerful apps for Android and iOS, enabling users to fully utilize the Cyql platform. However, there’s a small group of users without access to the mobile app. For them, the Ride Widget is the perfect solution to enjoy Cyql without the app. No need to maintain two separate ride calendars (app & website) anymore. Add the widget to your website, broaden your reach, and help your cycling club grow!

🌐 Simple integration, maximum impact

Installing the Cyql widget is a breeze. Just copy a small snippet of code from our user-friendly dashboard and paste it onto your website. In no time, your site will feature a live overview of rides, accessible to everyone. Plus, users can view ride details and download the corresponding GPX file with just one click. Make cycling more accessible and enjoyable for everyone in this way!

🔗 But we’re just getting started…

The launch of the Ride Widget is just the beginning. In 2024, we aim to make significant strides with more widgets and the development of an exclusive Cyql API for cycling clubs. Our goal: to provide direct access to valuable data through a secure API, allowing cycling clubs to enrich and personalize their activities. The future of cycling clubs is being bolstered by digital tools, and Cyql users are at the forefront of this movement!

➕ Great, but how do I add it to my website?

Adding the Cyql widget to your website is very easy. To do this, go to settings in the dashboard and then to ‘widget’. There you will find a piece of html code, which you can copy and place anywhere in your website.

United we ride: TC de Peeltrappers embraces digital journey with Cyql 🤝🚲

At TC de Peeltrappers, a dynamic cycling club based in the picturesque Odiliapeel, members enjoy the diversity and passion for cycling. With a membership ranging from 18 to over 80 years old, including several enthusiastic ladies, the club demonstrates that cycling is a sport for everyone.

Two years ago, the club made a significant switch. Members of TC de Peeltrappers swapped endless texting for Cyql, a choice recommended by Sander’s father, who is a member of another cycling club. This switch has transformed the way members communicate and organize.

“Our ‘smoelenboek’ (face book) in Cyql counts 49 active members. It’s fantastic to see how everyone, young and old, can manage with Cyql,” says Sander Dijken, a committee member at TC de Peeltrappers.

The simplicity and efficiency of Cyql are noticeable. “It’s ideal that we’re done with texting. All information about rides and events is now neatly organized in Cyql,” adds Sander.

“Our member-directory in Cyql counts 49 active members. It’s fantastic to see how everyone, young and old, can manage with Cyql.”

A suggestion for improving Cyql is the ability to rate saved routes. “It would be great if we could rate routes, to easily find the most beautiful ones,” suggests Sander.

Even the oldest members are very pleased with Cyql. “It’s ideal to have all the info neatly organized, without the constant stream of messages on WhatsApp,” concludes Sander.

At TC de Peeltrappers, a new way of organizing has been embraced. With Cyql, the club is not only more cohesive but also technologically advanced.

A look at cycling club “The Leffegozers”

Cyql takes a look at cycling club the Leffegozers, of which Marc is manager on behalf of the cycling club within Cyql. Together they form a close-knit group of friends whose passion for cycling is fueled by the healthy activity and sociability of the club. With 22 athletic members, they strive for their own personal bests and carefully prepare their routes using GPX files in Cyql.

How did you guys get in touch with Cyql, Marc
?
‘We got to know you through a friend, François De Smedt. He cycles at FSM Procycling and introduced our club to this handy cycling platform. Currently, the app is in full use by all 22 members and I have control of the dashboard‘.

What makes Cyql so great?
‘Cyql has a very easy way of communication and GPX routes can be effortlessly posted from Strava to cycling computers. It is not only efficient for the calendar, but also strengthens the connectedness within our club.

If there were a new feature in the Cyql app, what could it be?
‘The ability to create GPX routes, that would be the icing on the cake for us!’

Why should other clubs and organizations also embrace Cyql?
‘Simply because it is a very simple means of immediately notifying all club members of any changes in planned tours. Cyql not only brings cyclists together on the road, but also in the future virtual world, where the passion for pedaling and friendship come together.’

The Leffegozers are very positive about Cyql and are taking full advantage of it! Will your club be next?
