Jersey Cycling Association Joins Cyql
As of January 1st, Jersey Cycling Association is rolling out Cyql among all associated clubs on the island. As Jersey’s governing body for cycling, they’re joining a growing network of cycling organizations that includes KNWU, NTFU, Cycling Ireland and more.
About Jersey Cycling Association
The Jersey Cycling Association is the island’s governing body for all things cycling, from grassroots riding to competitive racing. Formed in 1988 and incorporated in 2012, they bring together clubs, riders and partners to grow and support cycling across every discipline available on the island.
Their mission is to build a stronger, inclusive, diverse and connected cycling community in Jersey. They work across multiple cycling disciplines including road cycling, mountain biking, and cyclocross, supporting riders at every level.
What Jersey Cycling does
Jersey Cycling coordinates with affiliated clubs across the island, manages race calendars, and provides the organizational framework that keeps Jersey’s cycling scene running. Whether you’re a competitive racer or just getting started, they’re the organization making sure the infrastructure is there.
They work with clubs like Caesarean Cycling Club, CASP, Big Maggies Mountain Bike Racing Team, and Jersey Youth Cycling to keep the island’s cycling community connected and active.
Why Cyql made sense for the island
Managing multiple affiliated clubs across different cycling disciplines means handling a lot of moving parts. Jersey Cycling chose Cyql to centralize their operations, membership management, ride coordination, event planning, and communication all happen in one place now.
For an organization managing a diverse cycling community, having one platform instead of scattered tools makes the admin side easier. Less time sorting through spreadsheets, more time actually supporting cycling on the island.
Moreover, Cyql offers a solution for tourists on the island who are looking to explore and connect with fellow cyclists. Cyclists of any level can now join local communities for a ride.
Part of a global cycling network
This partnership adds Jersey Cycling to Cyql’s network of national cycling federations, which includes the Royal Dutch Cycling Union (KNWU) and Cycling Ireland. Over 50% of NTFU clubs in the Netherlands are active on the platform, and Cycling Ireland’s 250+ affiliated clubs are using Cyql for their club management.
Jersey Cycling now has access to the same tools these organizations use: ride planning, event ticketing, member management, GPX route libraries, and direct communication features. Everything their affiliated clubs need to organize rides and keep members connected.

Part of a growing network of cycling clubs and cyclists
With Cyql, Jersey Cycling and their affiliated clubs can organize rides more efficiently, manage member information in one place, and keep everyone informed through centralized communication. The platform supports everything from weekly training rides to large-scale events.
Whether it’s road racing, mountain biking trails, or cyclocross events, the tools are there to help keep Jersey’s cycling community active and organized.
The rollout and adoption of the new platform
Jersey Cycling joins a platform used by over 65,000 cyclists worldwide across 4,000 clubs. The same features that have proven successful with other national cycling federations are now available to Jersey’s cycling community.
