How does Stripe integration work for clubs?
Each club connects its own Stripe account to Cyql. All membership payments go directly to your club’s Stripe account, just like with Cyql Ticketing. Payment statuses are updated automatically in real time.
What is the Cyql fee per payment?
Cyql charges a small service fee per transaction, in addition to Stripe’s standard processing costs. This fee covers platform maintenance, secure payment handling, and continuous product improvements. You’ll always see the exact Cyql fee before enabling payments, so there are no surprises.
Can admins restrict access for unpaid members?
Yes. Admins can block access to specific features, such as ride sign-ups, events, or group chats, until the member’s fee is paid. Once the payment is confirmed, access is instantly restored.
Does Cyql handle mid-season memberships?
Absolutely. When a member joins mid-season, Cyql automatically calculates a pro-rated fee based on the remaining membership period, ensuring fair pricing for everyone.
Can I offer discounts or sponsor codes?
Yes. You can create discount codes, one-time vouchers, or sponsor promotions. Discounts can be applied manually or automatically for certain member types or campaigns.
Are invoices and receipts automatically generated?
Yes. Every completed payment generates an invoice and receipt that members can download or view in their account. Admins can also access these records anytime for accounting purposes.
Can I export payment data for bookkeeping?
Definitely. Cyql allows you to export payment and membership data to CSV or Excel. These exports make it easy to share information with your accountant or upload it to other systems.
How secure is member payment data?
Cyql uses Stripe for all financial transactions, ensuring top-level payment security and compliance. Only authorized admins can view or manage payment details, and all actions are logged for transparency.
